This was a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to go to Monte Carlo because blue water, elegant hotel bars, beautiful cars, and a little bit of blackjack with friends are some of my favorite things. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. The juxtaposition of high mountains next to low water combined with the bright blue water and exotic cars everywhere made it seem almost surreal. I flew in between trips to Scotland (see Edinburgh Castle here) and Paris (see Musee d’Orsay and Notre Dame here) and wanted to share what a simple afternoon of lunch and walking around in Monte Carlo, Monaco is like so please enjoy!
Ok, my outfit is a mess, I know. I’m wearing socks with my espadrilles and I have no idea why those jeans are cuffed like that, especially since they’re already cropped! It was a really early flight, ya’ll, I actually did get dressed in the dark.
A few of the pictures are overexposed, unfortunately. I’m still trying to adjust to my new camera. If you simply can’t take it, you can leave OR maybe you could read about the Colour Pop Highlighters or what’s new from Urban Decay, heh.
The street in Monaco are absolutely pristine. I actually saw multiple people sweeping leaves on sidewalks during the day. This was very strange for someone who lives in New York City to see! You would think we actually pay people to throw garbage on our sidewalks by the looks of it.
Eating pasta and drinking a cafe latte at Cafe de Paris in Casino Square.
At a harbor with many incredible boats. Please note the incredibly clean ground. This place was seriously out of control.
Going to dinner, wearing the skirt I mentioned in my post about the Zara Mid Season sale (here) with a Rag & Bone top I bought last year.
The casino, which was like a museum. No music, beautiful building, and relatively quiet. Nothing at all like Las Vegas, obviously!
What an incredible city. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you so much for reading.
All The Best,
