An Afternoon in Old San Juan – Photos

Beaches, mountains, beautiful architecture – Old San Juan has a lot going for it.  I’m in Puerto Rico right now with my mom and little sisters and they agreed to take half a day off from baking in the sun to head out there for an afternoon.

We wanted to be adventurous and take a bus to Old San Juan, but these divas got tired of waiting after three minutes and we took a taxi.  My sister Amanda got a few bus stop selfies in though, thank God.  Anna’s been wearing my Marc Jacobs Highliner in “Ody(sea)”in her waterline.  It looks so beautiful with pink cheeks, a slight tan, and hazel eyes.

We visited Castillo San Cristóbal, an old fortress built in 1783.  The views of the city next to the blue ocean were incredible.

My mother bought this tank top from American Eagle for $6.  It’s so pretty and the fabric is so delicate.  I recently bought a silver metallic tank from Rag & Bone and I actually like this one better!   DSC02499  DSC02511

Then we went to a few tourist shops and had lunch before catching a bus back to Isla Verde.  I’m hoping to go to the rainforest tomorrow, if I can convince my sisters to sacrifice some beach time.  UPDATE: I made it to El Yunque rain forest!  Check out that post here!
